Needless to say, I'm a little disenfranchised with the current political drama that both sides are flinging around. So I made this, because while he does turn out to be a total fraud, the idea of Amon and the Equalists still seem to ring true to all.
Why can't all people be treated equal? We shouldn't treat anyone differently, no matter their race, religion, income, political belief, social standing, sexual preference, etc.
We shouldn't give millionaires a break on taxes, while people go starving. We shouldn't give money away to the lazy either, so that they won't get complacent with government handouts.
We need universal healthcare that covers everyone equally, and shouldn't be based on whether you are sick or not.
We should limit the use of abortion as a form of birth control, to be used only by rape victims or high risk pregnancies. Because even though you can debate all day whether an embryo is a person or not, you can't deny that if you let it grow, it will eventually be a human, which they should be treated equally as well, with the same rights as us all.
Everyone should be able to marry anyone they wish, regardless of gender and no one in a marriage should have more rights than the other. That's equal, is it not?
The idea of social classes is outdated and needs to be abolished. The union metal worker is just as important as the business CEO.
We should redistribute the wealth and if cuts need to be done to fix our debt, we should do it to all departments at an equal percentage, not single out just education or military.
Our government would do best if we hardly know it exists at all. They should keep their noses out of things that they really ought not to be concerned with. Smaller government is a better government. Let the people rule themselves.
Down with the Electoral College and anything of the same form, they are systems that we know longer need. The people should rule, not representatives with their own agenda to push.
We should not fight wars with people for political or economic gain against people who did nothing to us, but against those who wish to make themselves unequal to others and violating their rights.
People, do not fear your government, for you were the ones that put them in office. If we should run government "like a business" as they put it, then they are the employee and we are the employer. We shouldn't fear government, the government should fear us!!
I think it is high time we equalize the world. Don't you?

I'm afraid that when the last bastion of your argument rests on a Saturday morning cartoon villain, you've spent the last of the credibility.
It's dangerous and slippery, the deceptively pleasant-sounding goal of equality...
Now I'm for equal treatment under the law for all. I'm for pay equal to the quality and quantity of your work. I'm for equal opportunity.
I do agree with you on more than a few of these principles, mind you! More limited government, cuts to *everything* and not just giving our wounded warriors a stiff middle finger and a boot in the ass to thank them for their service, blood and limbs.
But taking the notion of equality to an extreme... In that notion, one threatens the virtues of the individual.
